Our Home
We live just north of Seattle in a beautiful semi-suburban neighborhood. We live on a very quiet street with lots of other kids in the neighborhood. We bought a new home in 2022 with room to grow and we can't wait to welcome little ones into the warm loving space we've created. We have a covered porch for year round outdoor living, a bright sunny entry, and cozy living spaces. We live just a block north of an amazing public park and we're walking distance to schools K-12.
Our Support System
We're incredibly lucky to have an amazing support system close to home and spread across the US. We have lots of family nearby including Mike's parents, brothers' families (plus lots of amazing Aunts/Uncles & Cousins) and Meghan's mom!
Since Meghan is an East Coast transplant we also have a vast network of amazing friends and family living in fun cities like Denver, Philadelphia, New York and D.C. We can't wait to take our kids on trips to visit so they can enjoy East Coast history and keep expanding their world view.
Theodora
Theodora came into our lives as a bit of a surprise. She was already born and in the NICU when her birth parents chose us to potentially adopt her. We were lucky to be local and able to meet her right away. We fell in love instantly and never looked back! She overcame a lot as a preemie but she's hit all her important milestones and we've had lots of extra help to make sure she's on track for growth and motor skills. She's super smart, opinionated, and very funny! She makes us laugh every day and we love watching her grow, gain confidence, and absorb everything around her.
Our Fur Baby
Meet Winter! We rescued our gorgeous lab/shepherd mix from a local Seattle area rescue. She was abandoned in Iowa and when no one came to claim her they placed her in the PNW. Winter loves long walks, playing with dog friends in her yard or the park, and laying in water whenever she can! Winter is great with Theo and loves to give her kisses and wait for all the treats that make it to the floor during meals. She's large but gentle and we love how much joy she brings to our house every day.
